Stay Home Sculpture Park
Due to Lockdown we've had to adapt the way we live, and for many artists like myself we've had to adapt the way we approach our practices too. In a time of change, I've been working with Vehicle Arts and few other artists on a project called FLUX that encourages the public to engage participate and share.
I am encouraging people to create their own Stay Home Sculpture Park using objects to hand from around their homes. I hope this activity will challenge people's usual interaction with their belongings as they stack, balance and play with them like toys. Connecting and bringing together objects that wouldn't usually encounter each other also refers to our current isolation experience, where people find themselves doing new things as well as connecting and reaching out to others.
Each Sculpture Park will be entirely unique and individial to the person or household creating it, so would love it if people could have a go at it and share their Sculpture Park using #fluxsculpturepark 🙌🏻 More information on FLUX can be found at https://www.vehiclearts.uk/
